The Minister of Presidential Affairs of South Sudan, Hon. Nhial Deng Nhial today Monday February 1st,2021 held a meeting in his office, with the Delegation of the European Union to South Sudan Ambassador Christian Bader and Deputy Ambassador Alessandro Rossi, by Diramakini Reporter.
The objective of the meeting was to exchange views on the implementation of the revitalized Peace Agreement, in view of informing the EU Ambassador‘s reporting concerning the opportunities available for the upcoming seven-year development aid plans by the European Union.
In his remarks to the media after the meeting, The head of the European Delegation Ambassador Christian Bader commended the parties for the progress made on the implementation of the Revitalized Peace Agreement especially on the completion of the appointment of State Governors and Deputy Governors.
In addition, Ambassador Christian Bader said, The Minister of Presidential Affairs Hon. Nhial Deng said, the Revitalized Transitional National Legislative Assembly will soon be established
The Minister and EU Ambassador also discussed the current state and prospects of South Sudan - European Union relations and cooperation and how to strengthen relations between the traditional allies of South Sudan specially the European Union.
