The JajPur District wings of Odisha Lekhika Sansad (Odisha Women Writers Association) celebrated it's second annual day at Ganesh Mandap of Olasuni Peetha .On this occasion a souvenir entitled "Social Degradation & Writers" was unveiled by its State Secretary Smt.Shakuntala Baliarsingh.
In her speech Smt. Baliarsingh highlighted the role of the writer in preventing the social degradation.As a Chief Guest the eminent short story writer Mr.Ajay Swain attend this meeting & described in his speech "the writers having a third eye & they should write for social change".
The district wings president of OLS Smt.Bidyutlata Das presided over the meeting.As a guest of honor eminent writer Mr.Sarbeswar Satapathy & the organizing secretary Smt. Sucheta Rout delivered their speech.On this occasion the guests are unveiled the Odia magazine of the Sansad in the title "Jajnya".
Financial committee member of Odisha Sahity Akademi Smt.Ritarani Nayak, Working committee member of Odisha Sahity Akademi Mr.Nrusingh Charan Sadangi,Aruna Roy,Jayanti Jena,Child dancer Dipsita Panda were felicited on this occasion.
Dr.Prajnya prabartika Dash Co-ordinated the program,As a convenor Smt.Sanjukta Mohapatra gave a note of information.Smt.Mirina Mohanty introduced the guests & Arnapurna Pati gave the vote of thanks.
In the morning session a poet recitation program was organized by the OLS. Smt.Labangalata Parida,Banasmita Panda,Amrita Singh & Diptimala Samal are coordinate that recitation . In which more than hundred numbers of poets of Odisha are recited their poem.
