LCCF 2026 to spotlight local content and investment in Tanzania’s Mining Sector

MWANZA-The 2026 Local Content Conference and Forum (LCCF) will be held from 22nd to 24th July,2026 at the Malaika Beach Resort, Mwanza, bringing together key stakeholders in Tanzania’s mining industry.
The Minister for Minerals,Hon.Anthony P. Mavunde (MP), will grace the event as Guest of Honour.

Under the theme Learn, Connect and Grow Your Business in Tanzania’s Mining Sector”, LCCF 2026 aims to strengthen local participation and unlock sustainable growth opportunities in the sector.

The three-day forum will bring together government institutions, mining companies, local suppliers, mineral dealers, investors, mine service providers, and members of the public.

Programme and Key Activities

The event will feature keynote presentations, panel discussions, technical sessions, and an exhibition showcasing innovative products, services, and solutions supporting the mining industry.

Participants will have opportunities to:

■Network with senior government officials, mining industry leaders, and key decision-makers

■Explore business opportunities in investment, procurement, and partnerships

■Gain knowledge on local content implementation, emerging trends, policies, and best practices in Tanzania’s mining sector

According to organizers, LCCF 2026 is designed to drive dialogue on how Tanzanians and local businesses can benefit more from mining activities while aligning with national policies.
