Senior Writer, Historian and Researcher of Odisha State Dr. Ekadashee Padhi has passed away

DOCTOR Ekadashee Padhi (78), a well-known educationist of Dasarathpur area of ​​Jajpur district of Odisha state, author of several literary books and historical treatises, well-known writer, orator, passed away at SOM Hospital in Bhubaneswar. He passed away on Saturday 26/11/2020 at 12.45 P.M, After this news came to light, there was a shadow of mourning in different parts of the district.

Pandit Gunanidhi Dash, Pandit Bhupathi Bhushan Mishra, Dr. Jnyanaranjan Pati, Rabindra Prusti, Khageswar Bhanj, Dharinidhar Mohapatra, Dr. Basudev Mishra, Hareram Panda, Umakant Das, DR. Gopal Chandra Mishra, Shishir Kumar Panda, Gyana Ranjan Tripathi, 

Purna Das, Bhuban Mohan Mohanty, Educationalist Mrs. Sanjukta Mahapatra, Educator Ramakant Satapathy,Journalist Kaushik Das, Maheshwar Jena, Suresh Chandra Kar, 

Journalist Ratilal Bhuyan, Santos Nanda, Dipti Mala Samal, Ratan Lal Bhuyan, founder of J. N.Institute of Para Medical Mr.Chandan Tripathy, founder of Chitalo Degree College Mr.Badri Narayan Roy, educationist Bimal Roy expressed deep condolence.

The last rites of the late Padhi were completed at village Mashani (creamation ground) his ancestral village Tarangsagarpur, while many dignitories of the district attended the funeral and wished the immortal soul well. Gautam Arya Bhushan Padhi, the son of late Padhi, gave the mukhagni (crimetion fire).

With his long life as a teacher in various high schools, he has enriched the history of Odisha and the audio library of Odisha literature by composing many literary books such as Smriti Sonnet, Malancha, Juge juge Jajpur, Itihas Purus Jajpur etc in odia language .

Many intellectuals have expressed the opinion that the death of late Padhi has caused an irreparable loss to, Odisha.
On this occasion, a tribute and memorial (Smruticharan) meeting was held at Dolphin Dance School and Group premises in Mangalpur of Dasarathpur Block under the chairmanship of founder of Chinmaya foundation Mr. Chinmaya Dash.

Poet Dhirendra Kumar Mallick, Pradeep Kumar Muduli, Journalist Sailendra Kumar Samal, Manmath Kumar Jena, Fakir Mohan Sahu, Vikram Keshari Behera are participated in it.

Similarly, senior journalist Umakant Dhal presided over the meeting held at Dasarpur Senior Citizen Forum office. In the said meeting, Dr. Basudev Mishra, Arjun Mishra, Narendra Kumar Das, Jajati Kishore Sahu, Managobinda Sahu, Pramod Kumar Mohanty, Dharinidhar Mohapatra, Adweita Kumar Mallick, Chinmaya Dash, Dhirendra Mallick are participated.

In the first two meetings where the attendees offered flower tribute on the photo of Dibangata (late)Padhi and prayed silently for the immortal soul.

The participators are discussed about moral value of Dr. Padhi to the society, scientific historical data, scriptural research, revival of Birja culture, Literary campaign,charity etc.
