Bank of Tanzania (BoT) injects USD 30.25 Million into Forex Market


THE Bank of Tanzania has intervened in the Interbank Foreign Exchange Market (IFEM) in accordance with its Foreign Exchange Intervention Policy of 2023, selling USD 30.25 million through an auction.
The sale was conducted at a weighted average exchange rate of TZS 2,469.96 per US dollar and was aimed at boosting liquidity in the foreign exchange market.
