THE Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation responsible for East African Affairs, Charles Kadonya, has urged ministry officials to strengthen teamwork, accountability and professionalism to ensure Tanzania maintains a strong voice in regional affairs and effectively safeguards its national interests.
The PS made the call during a meeting with staff from departments handling East African affairs in Mtumba, Dodoma, where he said every officer plays a critical role in preparing Tanzania’s official positions for meetings of the East African Community (EAC).
He stressed that regional cooperation requires thorough preparation, effective coordination and close collaboration across departments, calling on officials to work as one team, follow leadership directives and deliver assignments on time.
