The Chinmaya Foundation, the country's leading social welfare organization in Babalpur village of Jajpur district of Odisha State has been fighting for 563 days with nonstop and continues process, today as an unarmed soldier, risking his life to prevent the epidemic.
From March 22, 2020 to the present day, 563 days have been held in various parts of the country through cultural programs to raise awareness about Covid-19 along with relief distribution program among the poor, helpless, insane, and so on.
The program has been running for three days in various places in Binjharpur Block of JajPur fistrict including the village of Purastampur from the day number 561st to the day number 563rd day.
With the direction of Chairman of the Chinmaya Foundation Mr.Chinmaya Dash & Coordination of the awareness Coordinator Master Mihir Kumar, Mr.Sadashiba Nayak, Balaram Swain, Janmejaya Nayak, Niranjan Behera, Sarat Mahal, Dashrathi Swain, Nidhiram Mahal, Ranjit Behera, Ganesh Raut and others have been seen raising awareness through Pala and Odissi kirtan.
