Today Monday 1st November 2021, His Excellency President Salva Kiir Mayardit received and held a meeting, with Mabior Garang De Mabior, the son of fallen hero Dr John Garang de Mabior and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, Mabior Garang De Mabior expressed his heartfelt gratitude to H.E President Salva Kiir Mayardit for the call to come back home.
Furthermore, Mabior Garang De Mabior apologised to H.E President Salva Kiir Mayardit and the people of South Sudan for any statement that he might have said on the media against H.E President Salva Kiir Mayardit and the Nation.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Presidential Affairs Hon Dr Barnaba Marial Benjamin, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Hon Deng Dau and the Commander of Presidential Guards (Tiger Division) Major-General Lual Wek Guem.
In his remarks to the media after the meeting, Mabior Garang De Mabior said he is going to join hands with the leadership and people of South Sudan to collectively seek ways of contributing to peace and stability for the Nation.
