JUBA-President Salva Kiir Mayardit was briefed on the most urgent health, education, and infrastructure challenges facing the Greater Pibor Administrative Area (GPAA) during a meeting with the Chief Administrator Peter Guzulu Maze and Members of Parliament from the area.
Chief Administrator Maze commended the President for his unrelenting support to the local government to deliver essential services to the Greater Pibor region.
The delegation also briefed the President on the activities of some companies currently operating at the border area of Raad.
The meetings highlighted the need for government’s support and regulation to ensure that the local population benefits from the ongoing economic activity.
President Kiir reaffirmed his government's dedication to peace, stability, and growth in all parts of South Sudan, including the GPAA.
