New Somalia Foreign Minister welcomed in Mogadishu

On November 19, His Excellency the Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mohamed Hussein Roble, appointed His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Abdirizak Mohamud Abubakar as Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, By Diramakini Reporter.On November 25, H.E. Mohamed Abdirizak was sworn in as the new Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation

On November 28, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Mr. Mohamed Abdirizak Mohamud, will take over the duties of his office from his predecessor, HE Amb. Ahmed Isse Awad.

Ahmed Isse Awad said he was happy to welcome the new minister and wished him well in his new role.

"I am very pleased to welcome today the new Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Mohamed Abdirizak Mohamud Abukar, and I will work with him to fulfill the difficult task assigned to him," said the former Minister of Foreign Affairs.

His Excellency Mohamed Abdirizak Mohamud Abubakar, the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia, thanked the members for their hospitality and also thanked the President and the Prime Minister for the appointment, noting that he will continue with the work.

"First of all, I would like to thank the President and the Prime Minister for giving me the opportunity to be part of the government and the process of strengthening the government. I also thank former Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Isse Awad for his good work he has done for the Nation.

Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble on the 20th of this month reshuffled the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and appointed Mohamed Abdirizak Mohamud Abubakar as Somalia's new foreign minister.
