TMA:Tropical storm Hidaya to hit Indian Ocean east of the Mtwara Coast

DAR-Following the information released on May 1st,2024 by Tanzania Meteorological Authority (TMA) regarding the presence of low-pressure system over the Indian Ocean east of the Mtwara Coast, the low-pressure system has continued to strengthen (deepening) into a moderate Tropical Storm named Hidaya at a distance of approximately 506 kilometres east of the Mtwara Coast;
