The dawn of Sovereignty:Why DIRA 2050 is a Chapter in Tanzania's Economic Liberation?


DODOMA-On July 17, 2025, in the nation's capital, President H.E. Dr. Samia SuluhuHassan unveiled the Tanzania Development Vision 2050 (DIRA 2050).

It was notmerely the launch of another policy document; it was the start of important milestone, the final, decisive struggle: the struggle for Economic Sovereignty.

"The contents of DIRA2050 reflect the opinions and desires of Tanzaniansthemselves. We reasoned together, we drafted together, we planned together, andwe will implement together," says President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassn when launchingthis historic and transformative blueprint.
