ACCRA-Air Tanzania now offers air connections to Ghana, through Lagos, Nigeria. The maiden flight touched down in Accra on Wednesday and was carrying Tanzania's Transport Minister Prof. Makame Mabarawa and other officials.
Air Tanzania is set to undertake three weekly flights to Accra as it ramps up its global footprint to 32 countries.
Tanzania hopes this new partnership will promote trade and tourism within Tanzania, Ghana and Nigeria.
