The country's leading charitable organization Chinmaya Foundation is currently working to protect itself from the third wave of the epidemic.
The Corona Awareness and Relief Distribution Program, which has been in progress since March 22, 2020, has already reached its 599th day in yesterday.
Under the direction of the founding chairman of the foundation Mr. Chinmaya Dash,mass lamps, tarpans and silent prayers are being held for various souls those who are passed away in Covid-19. That fortnightly program continued from the holy Diwali to the full moon of Kartika (Rahasa Purnima) through the various branch offices.
In this regard, Mayurbhanj District Branch Coordinator Mrs. Sitamani Das led the villagers of Gadargadi for eight days from Holy Diwali (4th Nov. 2021 to 11th Nov 2021).
Massive Diya (lamp) donations, tarpans and silent prayers have been seen in various puja mandapas and spiritual places and in key areas of the village.
Bhagaban Naik, Sanat Naik, Sumati Naik, Debasmita Naik, Laxmi Naik, Parvati Naik, Deepak Kumar Naik and others were present, according to the information from the branch office of the Foundation.
