INDIA:Chinmaya Foundation's Days Number 828 To 831 For Covid-19 Awareness With Kit Distribution at Behera Sahi Village of Jajpur District

IN many parts of India, corona is seen to be slowly positive again.India reported 18,819 new Covid-19 cases and 39 deaths in the last 24 hours ending 8 am Thursday, data from the Union health ministry showed. As many as 13,827 patients recovered from the infection, with total active cases standing at 1,04,555. The total number of deaths in the country is now at 5,25,116.
The Covid-19 pandemic is changing but it is not over, head of the World Health Organization said on Wednesday, cautioning that the cases are on the rise in 110 countries and are being driven mainly by two fast-spreading Omicron sub-variants. 

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said this week that the fast-spreading Omicron sub-variants BA.4 and BA.5 together are estimated to make up half of the coronavirus cases in the United States. As of June 25, BA.5 made up 36.6 per cent of the total coronavirus cases in the US while BA.4 accounted for 15.7 per cent, together accounting for about 52 per cent of new cases in the US.
With the rise in Covid-19 cases in India, union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan wrote to all states asking them to integrate Covid-19 surveillance into their routine surveillance activities and follow the revised guidelines for surveillance in three areas-incoming international travellers, sentinel sites such as hospital and laboratories, and within the community, along with wastewater sample collection. 
The states have been asked to screen 2% of the international passengers coming to India at random and send all positive samples for genome sequencing.

In the direction of the foundation's founding Chairperson Mr. Chinmaya Dash , the COVID-19 kits were distributed in various parts of Jajpur District of Odisha State in it's day number 828 to 831 in Monday to Thursday.
Led by Shreekshetra Sahoo with Sagar Kumar Malik & other volunteers are aware & distribute Corona Kit such as mask, sanitizer, hand gloves to the needy people's along with relief items such as dry and cooked food, fruit to the insane, poor, begar with distribute notebook, pen, books,bags to the poor and needy student's in Behera Sahi village of Jajpur District of Odisha state.
