ON August 15, people of Indian origin around the world and in all corners of India joyfully observed the 77th Independence Day of India.
Various companies, government and non-government organizations, educational institutions etc., hoisting of the national flag.
Among the youth groups and students, patriotic music, dance, debate etc. competitions were held and awards were given to the successful contestants.
Senior social worker Pradeep Kumar Mohanty hoisted the flag as chief guest at Dadhibaman Nodal U.P. & High School in Babalpur.
On this occasion, in the prize distribution meeting organized under the chairmanship of educationist Shashadhar Sutar, prizes were distributed to the meritorious students.
