NIAMEY-Former President of Tanzania and Special Envoy of President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, H.E. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete met with Nigerien President H.E. General Abdourahamane Tchiani at the State House in Niamey on April 16,2025.
During this meeting, H.E. Kikwete, who is a seasoned diplomat, delivered a special message from President Samia to General Tchiani.He conveyed her warm greetings and expressed appreciation for the strong bilateral relations between Tanzania and Niger.
However, he emphasized the importance of further strengthening these ties, particularly in areas of mutual benefit such as trade, investment, and tourism.Additionally, H.E. Kikwete highlighted the necessity for African nations to share experiences, knowledge, and skills in order to effectively explore and utilize the continent's vast natural resources for the benefit of its people.
