Zimbabwe's VP Mohadi to visit Tanzania

DAR-The Vice President of Zimbabwe, Honorable Retired Colonel Kembo Campbell Mohadi, is set to embark on a two-day official working visit to Tanzania at the invitation of Vice President Dr. Philip Isdor Mpango.
This visit, scheduled for August 30th-31st, 2025, aims to further strengthen the longstanding relationship between the two nations.

Tanzania and Zimbabwe share a rich history of solidarity, dating back to Tanzania's support for Zimbabwe's liberation struggle.

Under the leadership of the late President Julius Kambarage Nyerere, Tanzania provided sanctuary, training, and political support to Zimbabwean liberation movements, laying the foundation for the strong diplomatic ties that continue to this day.

The two countries have maintained warm diplomatic relations, sharing common values rooted in Pan-Africanism, sovereignty, and self-reliance.

As members of the African Union (AU) and the Southern African Development Community (SADC), they collaborate on regional and continental issues, advocating for peace, stability, and development.

The strong partnership between Tanzania and Zimbabwe serves as a testament to the power of African unity and cooperation.
