DAR-The Vice President of Zimbabwe, Honorable Retired Colonel Kembo Campbell Mohadi, is set to embark on a two-day official working visit to Tanzania at the invitation of Vice President Dr. Philip Isdor Mpango.

Under the leadership of the late President Julius Kambarage Nyerere, Tanzania provided sanctuary, training, and political support to Zimbabwean liberation movements, laying the foundation for the strong diplomatic ties that continue to this day.
The two countries have maintained warm diplomatic relations, sharing common values rooted in Pan-Africanism, sovereignty, and self-reliance.
As members of the African Union (AU) and the Southern African Development Community (SADC), they collaborate on regional and continental issues, advocating for peace, stability, and development.
The strong partnership between Tanzania and Zimbabwe serves as a testament to the power of African unity and cooperation.
