Tanzania's tourism sector back on track, peace and stability restored

THE Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism has announced that peace and stability have been fully restored throughout the United Republic of Tanzania.

Following the swift containment of recent post-election incidents, all social, economic, and tourism activities are proceeding normally.

According to a statement issued on November 4th,2025 by the Head of Government Communication Unit, Nteghenjwa Hosseah, all entry and exit points, including airports, land borders, ports, and rail stations, are fully operational.
Tourism services across the country are also functioning without disruption.

As a committed member of the United Nations Tourism Organization (UN Tourism), Tanzania upholds international standards ensuring the safety and well-being of all travelers.

The country remains a peaceful, stable, and welcoming destination for tourism, business, and investment.

"We urge travelers to proceed with their plans to visit and explore Tanzania's exceptional attractions with confidence," the statement reads.

The Ministry assures visitors and tourism stakeholders that all necessary measures are in place to ensure their safety and security.

With peace and stability restored, Tanzania's tourism sector is ready to welcome visitors from around the world.
