THE Bank of Tanzania (BoT) has issued a banking license to a new microfinance bank,LOLC Tanzania Microfinance Bank Limited.
According to a public notice signed by Sauda K. Msemo, Deputy Governor for Financial Stability and Deepening, the license allows the institution to carry on microfinance banking business in Tanzania with effect from June 11, 2026.
The bank’s Head Office is located at Plot No. 11 Block 45A, Mezzanine and 1st Floor, Derm Complex, Kijitonyama, Dar es Salaam.
