THE Open University of Tanzania has announced orientation sessions for all Doctoral, Master’s and Postgraduate Diploma students admitted under the July 2025/2026 intake.
According to a notice from the Directorate of Postgraduate Studies, the orientation for students in Dar es Salaam will be held at the University Headquarters on 18th to 19th July, 2026.
For students in regional centers, the sessions will take place on 25th to 26th July,2026 in Arusha, Dodoma, Kagera, Kilimanjaro, Mara, Mbeya, Morogoro, Mtwara, Mwanza, Rukwa, Tabora, Tanga and Zanzibar.
All sessions will run from 09:30hrs to 16:30hrs. The University said the orientation aims to equip new postgraduate students with academic guidelines, university services, and learning support for distance and open education.
