BoT to launch Tanzania Sovereign Yield Curve

THE Bank of Tanzania (BoT) on behalf of the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania, has announced the official launch of the Tanzania Sovereign Yield Curve scheduled for Friday, 7th August 2026 at the Bank of Tanzania headquarters in Dar es Salaam from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

According to a public notice issued on 5th August 2026, the launch marks a significant milestone in the development and modernization of Tanzania’s domestic government securities market.

The Sovereign Yield Curve is expected to enhance market transparency, improve price discovery, support secondary market development, and provide a reliable benchmark for pricing government securities and related financial instruments.
