DOLPHIN Dance School & Group, a prominent cultural organization of Jajpur district, recently organized the ‘Pranam Guruji’ program to pay tribute to teachers on the occasion of Guru Diwas.
The event was held at the school premises in Kasba-Mangalpur under Thalakudi Panchayat, Dasharathpur Block.
Students participated with great devotion, upholding the tradition of Guru Vandana. They offered prayers, floral tributes and offerings to the group’s Director,Master Mihir Kumar and other respected Gurus of the institution.
The ceremony reflected the spirit of gratitude and respect that lies at the heart of Indian cultural values.
Speaking on the occasion, the dignitaries highlighted the role of a Guru in shaping discipline, talent and character among students. They emphasized that such celebrations help in preserving cultural traditions while inspiring the younger generation.
As part of the festivities, students also celebrated Sri Krishna Janmashtami and Nanda Utsav, which were observed a day earlier with devotional songs, dance performances and traditional rituals.
The program witnessed participation from several noted personalities including Sarbeshwar Barik, Mohanty Marandi, Jitendra Kumar Dighi, Deepak Jena, Preeti Ranjan Jena, Prabhas Jena, Smritimayee Jena, Jamuna Nayak, Liza Behera, Pragyan Paramita Sahu, Priyadarshani Jena, Saroj Patra and others.
The event concluded with cultural performances by the students, showcasing Odisha’s rich dance heritage and leaving the audience appreciative of the school’s efforts in promoting art and tradition.
