Designed by Populous and Oualalou + Choi, the futuristic stadium draws inspiration from traditional Moroccan “moussem” festival tents. It will feature a soaring aluminum lattice roof, gardens 90 feet above ground, and a 29,500-capacity supporters’ section.

The venue will serve as a key site for the 2030 FIFA World Cup, which Morocco will co-host with Spain and Portugal. After the tournament, it will become the home of the Morocco national team,Raja CA and Wydad AC.

Located in El Mansouria 23 miles north of Casablanca, the project will also include training centers, hotels and retail spaces aimed at driving urban development.(NA)
