This will be the first State visit by an Angolan President to Tanzania since 1979, making it a historic occasion that reflects the longstanding friendship between the two countries.
It will provide an opportunity to further deepening cooperation in trade and investment, infrastructure, oil and gas, minerals, transport, agriculture, health, education, tourism, technology and digital communications.
H.E. President Lourenço will also join H.E. President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan at the inauguration of the Government City in Mtumba, Dodoma.

Tanzania and Angola share a common history of friendship and solidarity dating back to the liberation struggles in Southern Africa, under the leadership of their respective Founding Fathers, the late Mwalimu Julius Kambarage Nyerere and the late António Agostinho Neto.
This shared legacy continues to underpin relations between the two countries and provides a strong foundation for advancing their common aspirations for sustainable development, economic prosperity and regional integration.
