KAMPALA-The Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Hon. Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo (MP), delivered a special message from the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, H.E. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, to the President of the Republic of Uganda, H.E. Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, in Entebbe, Uganda.
Accompanying Minister Kombo was the Tanzanian Ambassador to Uganda, H.E. Maj. Gen. Paul Simuli.
Minister Kombo toured the Embassy of the United Republic of Tanzania in Kampala, Uganda, as well as the former residence of the Ambassador in Kololo.
He also held a productive meeting with the Embassy staff, emphasizing on the importance of increasing their skills, performance, proper management of government resources, and identifying the numerous beneficial opportunities for strentherning Tanzania and Uganda’s bilateral relations.
