Hon.Ridhiwani Kikwete highlights the importance of the Tanzania Public Service College (TPSC) in strengthening public service

THE Minister of State in the President's Office for Public Service Management and Good Governance,Hon.Ridhiwani Kikwete has emphasized the critical role of the Tanzania Public Service College (TPSC) in producing skilled, ethical and patriotic public servants capable of delivering quality services to Tanzanians.
Speaking during the 25th anniversary celebrations of the Tanzania Public Service College held at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre (JNICC) in Dar es Salaam, Hon.Kikwete said the institution remains a cornerstone in the country's efforts to build a professional and efficient public service.

The event brought together former principals of the college, representatives from institutions that have partnered with the college over the past 25 years, government officials and other stakeholders who have contributed to its growth and success.
During the ceremony, certificates and appreciation awards were presented to former leaders, institutions and partners in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the college's achievements since its establishment.

Addressing the gathering,Hon.Kikwete underscored the importance of the college in strengthening Tanzania's public service through continuous training and capacity building.

He noted that the institution plays a vital role in equipping public servants with the knowledge, skills, professionalism and ethical values required to improve service delivery and support national development.
"The Tanzania Public Service College is not only a training institution but also a key pillar in developing competent and accountable public servants who can effectively serve the nation," Hon.Kikwete said.

He further called for continued investment in public service education and professional development, stressing that a well-trained public workforce is essential for enhancing government efficiency and meeting citizens' expectations.
The Minister reaffirmed the government's commitment to supporting the college in its mission of producing highly qualified public servants capable of driving sustainable national development and strengthening public institutions across the country.
